Turning 65 or on Medicare? We've got you covered.

    Medicare Open Enrollment
    Oct. 15 - Dec. 7

As a Medicare-eligible retiree, you have the opportunity to enroll in a Medicare Advantage HMO plan that provides you access to your Sutter doctor. A Medicare Advantage HMO plan is a Medicare plan offered by a private company that contracts with Medicare to provide you all your Part A and Part B benefits. Many of the plans also include Medicare Prescription Drug coverage, Plan D.

The Medicare Advantage HMO plans provide great value and service than the Original Medicare plan.

    The plans often include:

    • Prevention and Wellness
    • Personal Health/Care Management
    • Disease Management Solutions
    • Advanced Illness Services

The plans work like a traditional HMO where you choose a primary care physician to help you manage your health care, including referrals to specialists.

The Benefits of Medicare Advantage HMO Plans

    • Low or no co-pays for office visits
    • Preventive services, including annual physicals
    • Hospitalization coverage
    • Emergency Room services
    • X-Ray and laboratory services
    • Prescription drug coverage for most plans
